Deepening Into the Mindful Body:

So “Mindfulness” and Mind-Body” have been a thing now for a good decade or more. One has to question how did mind and body somehow become separated in the first place.

Perhaps the places to look are how humans tend to focus on intellectual prowess, OR physical prowess, on sedentary jobs that require imense brain power while the body becomes disengaged or detached, or asleep to the fervent mind.

Your body is full of sensory receptors that can tell you in every moment what your body is doing, feeling, responding, reacting, and how you are breathing – if you choose to actually tune in to the information flow. Learning how to stay tuned in is the most richest experience because the information flow is TWO WAY – while you feel and listen, so too you can direct and choose HOW to be in your body and how to move and breath.

Being able to actively take part in your physical expression and presence brings all of YOU to the fore, enhancing and heightening your experience of all daily activities – whether it be a deep mindful meditation, negotiating an urgent and high pressure business deal, kitesurfing on a windswept beach at 6am, or relaxing with your loving family in the evening. All of these can be available to you.
