Personal Practice

Maximising Your Personal Practice:

 

I often work with people who already have an established personal practice – in Yoga, Pilates, Crossfit, Martial arts and much more. We are often then working to overcome hurdles and challenges ranging from mild to significant, that present as a “plateau” or a frustrating obstacle to progress.

Also, often in these activities, whether it be in classes or in personal practice, the physical body and indeed the mind may present inherent structural patterns and restrictions that the discipline itself cannot resolve, making progress difficult and increasing the potential for strain and injury.

Coming in from a totally different perspective, I help people move past these obstacles and obstructions, so that they can engage more fully in their chosen activities, and further deepen into their personal practice.

 

  • Resolve restrictions and limitations in whole body movement 
  • Improve ranges of motion especially through major joints i.e. ankles knees hips sacrum/L5 and spine, shoulders and neck, elbows and wrists
  • Get to better understand your body structure and musculoskeletal formation and it’s limitations
  • Reduce unneccesary strain through the whole body including SI joints in yoga
  • Improve balance, grounding, movement flow and integration
  • Evolve an ongoing healthy practice that continues to nourish and energise
